Meet the Hosts

Linda & Tonino

We’re an Italian / American couple who fell in love when our lives intertwined in this beautiful country many moons ago. Our paths crossed in Rome, where Linda was studying fine arts abroad, and Tonino, a southern Italian boy, was living the Roman dream. What began as a heartfelt friendship turned into a lifetime of love, shared adventures, and the ongoing venture of our beautiful country home in the hills of northern Italy.

After our passionate restoration of a traditional stone farmhouse, today we live on the property and love welcoming guests from around the world! Whether you need restaurant tips, directions to a vineyard, a quick Italian lesson from Tonino, or just a friendly hello, we’re nearby to assist, while always mindful of your privacy.

We’ve designed Asolare Oasis to make you feel at home. In your independent living space you’ll find thoughtful touches throughout ~ from handmade furniture to curated artisan wines, from cozy corners to majestic mountain views.

Whether you’re visiting for a week or a weekend, in Italy for work or pleasure, we hope you feel the care in every detail as you settle into the quiet of this tiny corner of paradise.

Asolare Oasis invites you to discover its gentle magic.

Want to know more about Asolare Oasis?

The word Asolare comes from a 15th-century Italian phrase meaning

“to pass one’s time pleasantly in the open air.”

It was beloved by poets like Robert Browning and Pietro Bembo after living for a time in Asolo,

and captures everything we hope to offer ~
a restful space to be present, at ease,
and delightfully unhurried.
